Stonnington TSB Program Feb

⁠⁠⁠Stonnington Youth Services are looking for a visual mural/street artist to facilitate the Traffic Signal Box Program (TSB) alongside young people from across the City of Stonnington. The purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for young people to experience mentorship from a professional artist, build and develop visual art skills and connect with their community to show case their talents. This program involves a series of 4 x workshops and 2 x paint days. During the workshops the artists will support each young person to develop a design for a TSB, the artists will support participants to bring their designs to life and paint the TSB's alongside the young people.

We are seeking 2 Professional Artists to mentor 4 young people (2 per artist) for the workshops and paint days outlined below:

Workshops 1 - Tuesday 20th February (5-7pm) Developing TSB Design

Workshop 2 - Tuesday 27th February (5-7pm) Finalizing TSB Design for Council Approval

Workshops 3 - Tuesday 5th March (5-7pm) Integrating Design Feedback and Choosing supplies and materials for paint day

Workshop 4 - Tuesday 12th March (5-7pm) Practice Paint Session - Artists Mentoring in skill building, practicing techniques

Paint Days - Saturday 16th March and Saturday 23rd March (alternate paint days may be required depending on weather)
