Tender Description
This tender is for a Contractor to modify sections of the Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant’s inlet to provide greater reliability and operability of the Black Rock Treatment Plant.
The works includes:
- the eduction, cleaning and isolation/abandonment of existing assets
- the modifications to the Diversion Chamber including provision of new cover slab
- the diversion of the DN1000 Coastal Inlet sewer to the Diversion Chamber
- the modifications to the Selector Pit channel
- the extension and adaption of the existing odour ducting to the Diversion Chamber
- the modification works to re-purpose the former Inlet Chamber as a Scour Pit
- the installation of a stormwater return pump
- the removal of the MK12 tee and replacement with a GRP pipe; and
- all required isolations and bypasses to allow the works to be undertaken, including the bypass pumping of the Main Outfall Sewer
