Tender Description
The purpose of this Contract is for Yarra City Council (“Council”) to engage a Contractor to supply eligible clients with a Delivered Meals service. The objective is to provide clients with a wide variety of nutritious meals that meet the needs of our diverse community.
The objectives of Council Delivered Meals Programs are to
Produce meals for eligible clients according to the level of demand;
- Provide a flexible and responsive service which meets a broad range of individual and group needs of eligible clients;
- Produce meals which are nutritionally balanced and meet the individual dietary requirements and preferences of eligible clients;
- Produce meals that vary in type and texture;
- Produce culturally appropriate meals to a diverse range of eligible clients;
- Produce meals that comply with the Meals on Wheels Best Practice Guidelines 2022 , Commonwealth Home Support Programme 2023 – 2024 , Home and Community Care Program for Younger People 2013 and Aged Care Standards 2023 ;
- Within the limits of the service, undertake a monitoring, feedback and safety role to help support clients, and;
- Improve the overall environmental sustainability of the service and
