Tender Description
The City of Port Lincoln (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of works related to the Road Kerbing Repairs Program 2023/2024 (the Services).
The scope will involve kerb and gutter and spoon drain replacement works to be completed in advance of the spray seal re-surfacing program for various road segments across the City of Port Lincoln. Tenderers are to determine intended delivery based upon the full scope of works including a Schedule of Works Program to identify progressive staging and applicable hold points, including full methodology and applicable day-time and/or night-time works.
A specification has been developed by Tonkin Consulting listing the kerb locations and type of replacement kerb required. The roads identified for 2023/2024 were produced from the Asset System, RSM and Conquest hosted by Tonkin Consulting.
Tenderers are to submit a Lump Sum price based on a Schedule of Rates. The staging and methodology to undertake the works is to be determined by the Tenderer.
The scope of works will comprise the whole of the plant, labour and materials and any obvious items in order to meet the impending grant funding deadline prior to 30 June 2024. Such items include but not necessarily limited to:
- Pre - Inspection of each road to confirm treatments;
- Replacement of damaged kerb sections;
- Replacement of spoon drains at end of life;
- Reinstatement of pavement and seal;
- Inspection and reporting;
- Traffic management of affected roads;
- Resident notification.
