Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is responsible for maintaining the road network in the forest estate. DEECA utilises a road classification system to describe standards and maintenance regimes.
The DEECA Strategic Fire Road Network (SFRN) is used to control and prevent bushfire, by utilising these roads as major fire breaks or burn boundaries in emergency situations and when conducting fuel reduction burns.
As a result of the 2019-20 eastern Victorian Bushfires, the forest estate was severely damaged and requires repair.
The Snowy recovery team was formed in the wake of the 2019-2020 eastern Victorian Bushfires and continues to perform works relating to the bushfires and some severe rain events which have followed.
Much of the damage sustained continues to affect our roading network where we are stabilising and repairing these damages as they arise.
The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2023-0607 for the provision of minor works – Mount Watt Track Crossing Replacements.
