Lease, Development and Management of Sale Motor Village

⁠⁠⁠Sustainable Park Solutions is pleased to take to market via Tender the Lease, Development and Management of the Sale Motor Village on behalf of the Wellington Shire Council.

The Wellington Shire Council is the Committee of Management for the Sale Motor Village pursuant to the Crown Land (reserves) Act 1978.

The Sale Motor Village is located adjacent to the Princes Highway and is 5-minute walk from the regional centre of Sale. Sale is a bustling centre with a large RAAF base as well being the home of the offshore Bass Strait gas industry.

Sale is also a popular tourism destination and is a great staging post to explore the world-famous Ninety Mile Beach and the Gippsland Lakes. Sale is connected to Melbourne by rail and is just a 2.5-hour drive on the Princes Highway.

The mixed-use park offers a range of accommodation options including powered and unpowered sites and permanents.

The caravan park occupies a rectangular shaped parcel of Crown Land with creek frontage. The park is flat throughout with established tree coverage. The caravan park site is approximately 5 hectares and adjacent to the park is the Port of Sale, with its heritage wharfs, parkland and cafes. Next to the Port of Sale, you will find Sale’s fantastic Arts and Cultural precinct including the Gippsland Art Gallery and The Wedge Performing Arts Centre.

Wellington Shire Council seeks to appoint a dynamic tenant with the appropriate skills, experience the ability to manage and operate the Sale Motor Village located at 2-6 Foster St, Sale VIC 3850 (the Park).

The Tennant will be required to fund and undertake Capital Works at the Park to ensure the ongoing development of this local asset, as well as provide the necessary Plant and Equipment to operate the park.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
