Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking an experienced and qualified Contractor for the construction of a Cell 6 at the Kelsey Creek Landfill, Proserpine Qld 4800. Cell 6 is a new landfill cell at an existing landfill and is required as the current waste disposal cell (Cell 5) fills.
The general scope of the Cell 6 construction works includes:
a) the construction of a landfill cell containment system adjacent to existing landfill operations;
b) site access; and
c) associated surface water drainage.
Construction works include construction of a leachate collection system in Cell 6 and connection to an existing leachate connection system at the Cells 5 and 6 connection.
