Tenders are invited to establish a schedule of rates contract for the production of Type 2.5 gravel and other specified construction materials at Councils Mt Olive quarry located at Mt Olive Road Cinnabar.

The key deliverables of the project is to produce 100,000 tons of material comprising of;

• 90,000 tons of Type 2.5 Gravel (MRTS05)

• 5,000 tons of 500mm Rock

• 5,000 tons of 150mm-300mm Rock

Samples to be obtained and tested every 5,000 tons produced of each material type to ensure compliance with the specification.

All crushing and blasting operations shall be performed on site at Mt Olive Quarry. Blasting, crushing, screening and material production operations are required to be conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

All blasting and crushing work shall conform to all relevant Local, State and National Legislative requirements, Australian Standards, Development Approval and Councils site-based management plans and approvals.
