Provision of Courier and Storage Services for Cairns Libraries

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council (Council) provides a network of eight libraries to its community with libraries located at Babinda, Cairns City, Earlville, Edmonton, Gordonvale, Manunda, Smithfield and Stratford.

The Council is seeking submissions and competitive rates for a dedicated Supplier/s to provide services for the following two separable portions of work:

a) Separable Portion A - Daily courier services.

b) Separable Portion B - Book storage services.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgment of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least four (4) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Friday 15 December 2023. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 130 days from the Closing Time.
