Commercial Office Fit-out of Town Hall House Levels 17, 19 & 20 and Furniture Reuse

⁠⁠⁠The City of Sydney invites responses to this Request for Tender for a Principal Contractor to deliver the Commercial Office Fit-out of Town Hall House Levels 17, 19 & 20 and furniture Reuse / relocation within CBD project in project in accordance with this request.

The City of Sydney is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Commercial Fit-out Contractor team with demonstrated experience delivering Design & Construct (D&C) contracts for commercial office fit-outs in heritage buildings which are owner occupied and/or leased to third parties within the stipulated time frame to optimise rental returns.

The Principal Contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of the office fit-out of levels 17, 19 & 20 at Town Hall House (located at 456 Kent Street, Sydney) as described in the drawings, specification, other contract documents, and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Legislative requirements and the terms and conditions of Contract.

The City of Sydney has an opportunity to reuse / relocate existing office furniture, fixings and equipment from vacated tenancies at 343 George Street to other City owned buildings. This sustainability initiative will utilise some of this existing furniture, fixings and equipment from 343 George Street into the office fitouts of levels 17,19 & 20 at Town Hall House, the rest will be relocated to other buildings across the City's portfolio within the CBD.
