Tender Description
Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors for the demolition of the existing and construction of new public toilets at Macleod Village located at 31 Aberdeen Rd, Macleod, VIC 3085.
The scope of works generally includes but is not limited to construction activities involving:
• Mobilisation and site establishment;
• Set out of works;
• Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council and statutory safety requirements;
• Location and protection of any and all underground and above-ground services in the works area;
• Demolition works of the existing public toilet building;
• Construction of a new public toilet building in new location;
• All electrical work, mechanical, hydraulic, structural & civil works, as shown in the drawings;
• Construction fencing and ancillary works;
• Liaising with relevant authorities regarding decommissioning and reconnection of services, including all permits, applications and inspections;
• Documentation of as-constructed information, including all inspections, testing and survey;
• Inspection and testing of the works; and
• Site clean-up & handing over including warranties and operation manuals and documentation
NOTE: Existing Public Toilet to be demolished following completion and handover of new toilets.
The contractor is to familiarise themselves with the site, access, extent, complexity and timing of works required and shall take into account any additional or incidental works not specifically listed.
