Tender Description
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking Stage 1 applications from organizations to undertake a comprehensive research program to determine optimal space allocation and bedding rate of feedlot cattle that will facilitate the development of a covered feedlot odor model. The project is to be funded from Grain fed levies. As part of this project we are seeking a host feedlot site, willing to allow construction of a small covered feedlot facility as part of the project and manage animals under specified conditions for a duration of at least two years. MLA will then arrange for a separate project to measure odor under those management conditions.

Stage 1 MLA Applications must be received by 5PM AEST on 15 December 2023.
