Through its policy - Strengthening Mental Health in Australia - the Australian Government outlined a package of commitments targeting youth mental health with a particular emphasis on early intervention services for young people with, or at risk of severe mental illness.

Murray PHN is seeking submissions from suitably qualified submissions for the provision of a Youth Enhanced Service that:

• target young people aged 12 to 25 years, with or at risk of complex/severe mental health conditions, who can be managed in a primary care setting
• will be delivered in one or more of the following regional areas: Robinvale and the following Local Government Areas - Buloke Shire, Gannawarra Shire, Loddon Shire, Mt Alexander Shire, Macedon Ranges Shire, Murrindindi Shire and Mansfield Shire
• include options of outreach, out of hours provision and a peer support component. 

• The total funding available is:

o $710,726 (exc. GST).

o Contract period from January 2024 to 30 June 2026.

• Proposals for this request for tender may address one or more LGAs. There is no minimum or maximum LGA criteria.
