Expression of Interest - Audit & Risk Committee

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest are sought for a suitably qualified person to participate as an independent member of Campaspe Shire Council's Audit & Risk Committee, which is a committee of the Council that provides independent and objective advice on matters relating to financial and performance reporting, governance, risk, internal controls, and accounting disclosures. The Committee meets a maximum of five times per annum.

Criteria for appointment are experience and/or qualifications in at least one of the following areas: accounting, auditing, risk management, governance, or public sector executive management. Independent members are appointed to the committee for a term of up to 4 years (however can be a shorter period of time) and receive an allowance for their services.

Expressions of Interest should detail the background of the applicant and must be in writing, addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca Vic 3564, or alternatively emailed to cs@ campaspe.vic.gov.au by 5 pm Friday, 10 November. A selection panel will interview applicants prior to making any recommendation for appointment to the Council.
