Tender Description
The Torres Strait Island Regional Council is pleased to invite you to tender for the construction of the proposed Helicopter. Parking Area upgrade works and airport fencing upgrade on Masig Island as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.
The work for Separable Portion A includes, but is not limited to:
- Contractors Site Facilities and Camp.
- Provision for Traffic.
- Environmental Management.
- Erosion and Sediment Control.
- Relocation of Services (if required)
- Earthworks – Preparation, excavation, subgrade treatment, backfill.
- Concrete works; and
Other works as required under the contract.
The work for Separable Portion B includes, but is not limited to:
- Contractors Site Facilities and Camp
- Removal of existing fencing
- Installation of fence posts
- Installation of fencing panels
- Installation of Gates
- Installation of chain mesh fencing
- Removal of material off island
Other works as required under the contract to complete the scope including any temporary works as required by the construction methodology.
All works MUST be completed by 30 May 2024
