Tender Description
The Southland District Council (Council) is approaching significant legislative changes for Resource Management with the Resource Management Act (RMA) being repealed and three new Acts replacing it.
New national direction with policy statements, environmental standards, and associated practice will be implemented, these changes are anticipated to be implemented over the next ten years and will significantly change how applicants apply for resource consents, this will likely require changes to how the Council will meet the regulatory requirements for processing resource consents.
