The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Expressions of Interest for the carrying out of Head Consultancy services for the Goulburn Street Carpark Remediation in accordance with this request.
Goulburn Street Carpark is a multi-level commercial carpark built circa1960 and comprising 750 car spaces erected above the rail corridor. The City has a ground lease over the land with 37 years remaining.
Previous site investigations and condition assessments have identified structural repairs required to remediate the structure. Structural assessment and remediation are required for the safe operation and maintenance of the carpark for the remaining lease period.
The City seeks to engage a suitably qualified structural consultant to undertake structural assessment, review previous works history and reports and provide technical support, including preparation of works specification for calling tenders for remediation/maintenance works.
