Lesson plans for Victorian Government Schools

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (the department) is seeking to procure high quality, sequenced Lesson Plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 in the areas of English, Mathematics, Science and Technologies to support schools to successfully implement the new curriculum.

Lesson plans and support materials will be published on the department’s Arc Learning website and will be available for all teachers to adapt and use.

The products to be delivered are:

1. a mapping of the lesson plan sequences to the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 to demonstrate full coverage of the curriculum, and the recommended order in which schools should cover the sequences of lesson plans.
2. lesson plans, which translate the content of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 into classroom-based teaching and learning activities, according to a standard lesson structure. The lesson plans should be arranged in sequences which provide comprehensive coverage of the new curriculum. Each sequence must recommend appropriate assessments and provide a rubric where required.
3. support materials for each lesson plan that assist with delivering the lesson.
