Council is aiming to engage a suitably qualified carbon offset portfolio manager to purchase and manage a carbon offset portfolio for a three-year term, in order to achieve carbon neutrality for Council's operations over the financial year 22/23, 23/24, and 24/25. Respondents will be required to provide costing for a 3-year portfolio of offsets that substantially addresses the Council's expected carbon liability during this period, as well as two spot purchases of offsets to cover the remaining carbon liability for financial years 23/24 and 24/25 respectively.
