Supply of Cleaning Services

⁠⁠⁠The University of Waikato requires cleaning, hygiene & linen services across both our Hamilton and Tauranga campuses and satellite sites.

This entails approximately 76,000 square meters of campus space across 40 buildings, excluding Halls of Residence.

Our goal is to secure the services of one or, if deemed necessary, two contractors who can efficiently and effectively provide cleaning services. The cleaning schedule and intensity will be based on the specific usage patterns of each building throughout the year.

We need suppliers with the size and scale to be able to manage a multi-site, multi building cleaning service, who have a stable and sufficient workforce and the equipment to provide a cost-effective solution.

Based on submissions and subsequent evaluation we may award the contract to either a sole or multiple providers to meet our diverse and dynamic cleaning needs effectively.

This approach ensures that the cleaning services are tailored to the unique requirements of each building and guarantees that the selected contractor(s) are well-equipped to provide high-quality services that meet the standards and expectations of the University of Waikato
