Mornington Peninsula Shire is changing its approach to buildings/facilities maintenance and the Council wishes to engage directly with specialist service providers/contractors to deliver various routine and reactive maintenance services, including minor works; Community Asset Maintenance Services (CAMS).

Council is seeking proposals from experienced contractors for proactive planning and removal of graffiti at all Council-owned infrastructure assets, except road and drainage-related assets, throughout the Shire.

The scope of services includes the provision of four dedicated full-time removalists, preparing and delivering a proactive inspection program, graffiti removal, application of anti-graffiti coating, and other graffiti management tasks, contract administration and asset management using the Council's information systems, and investigating and resolving customer queries. A shared risk, collaborative approach is intended between the Contractor and Council.

In accordance with the Contract conditions, the Contractor will be awarded all reactive and minor works tasks up to $30,000 (including GST) and with good ongoing performance awarded all Contract extensions to a full term of seven years, commencing 1 July 2024.

An in-person Tender Briefing will be held Tuesday 19th September 10am at Safety Beach Sailing Club - further details in the RFP. Tenderers are strongly encouraged to attend but it is not mandatory.
