Tender Description
The National Landcare Facilitator Program (the program) will run over four years from 2023-24 to 2026-27. The program was announced as part of the October 2022-23 Budget.
The objectives of the program are to:
- promote community volunteering and support grass roots landcare organisations
- facilitate knowledge exchange within the landcare sector at a regional and national level to help build on ground natural resource management (NRM) capability
- support the engagement of First Nations peoples in NRM, including by facilitating their involvement in on ground projects and activities
- promote the work of the landcare movement and draw in additional funding, sponsorship and engagement from the corporate and philanthropic sectors.
