Description
The Aotearoa New Zealand Advanced Training Sub-Committee – Cardiology is seeking expressions of interest from an AoNZ Cardiologist in the Auckland region and from an Advanced Trainee (Trainee Representative) to join the Committee.
The Committee’s purpose is to monitor and support trainees through their physician training which includes approval and certification of rotations, accreditation visits to AoNZ hospitals to ensure sites are maintaining the requisite standard of training and supporting College supervisors.
The Committee meets formally twice a year, usually one face-to-face meeting and another over Zoom, with periodical out-of-session meetings when required.
The Committee encourages applicants with any level of experience as a consultant, who have an interest in contributing to the improvement of physician training to submit an application. For the Trainee Representative position, the Committee would prefer you to be in the early stages of your training.
