OVERVIEW
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) in November 2023 and is seeking Expressions of Interest concerning the Patron Services contract for future Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (Event) events, to be held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit (Venue) from 2024 through to 2026 (three years).

EVENT
The MotoGP™ is a 20-round season that visits a total of 17 countries across four continents, showcasing the best and fastest motorcycle racers. The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix event is held over a three-day period, typically in October each year. It is the premier motorcycle event in Australia and has been running in Phillip Island since 1989.
The AGPC is responsible for the staging of the Event at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Approximately 90,000 fans attend the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix over the three-day period. AGPC offers fans the choice of three product types, including General Admission (Island Pass), Grandstand, and Hospitality. Additionally, fans can camp at the circuit on the campgrounds offered as part of the Event offering.
SCOPE OF WORKS
The Patron Services provider is responsible for the provision of staff for three (3) distinct workforces:
- Patron Services
- Venue entry and ticket scanning
- Grandstand attendants
- Car park attendants
- Spruikers (Public announcements of key messages to customers)

1. Suite Hosts
- Hospitality facility suite hosts
The scope of works under this contract includes, but is not limited to:
- Recruitment, rostering, and training of workforce personnel, approximately 150 staff in total.
- Staff relocation to Phillip Island, including transport to and from the island, accommodation, transport to and from the Venue, and meals.
- Venue and Event site requirements, such as the establishment of check-in and break zones.
- Management of uniforms (provided by AGPC) required for each workforce; including stock count, distribution to staff, dry cleaning, storage, and maintenance of stock levels.
- Delivery of service to customers that is in line with a world-class major event.
- Post-event debriefing, staff insights, and continual improvement opportunities.
