Tender Description
The Scope of Work involves completing a Desktop Study of available information which includes a review of existing geological/geomorphological maps, existing SRA’s, and any existing ground information data.
The desktop study is to identify any gaps in information that are required to be addressed prior to the commencement of the detailed design, e.g., insufficient geotechnical investigation or survey.
Tenderers are also requested to prepare a Geotechnical Investigation Proposal Plan (GIPP) for proposed geotechnical investigation works.
Using the results of the desktop study, and any subsequent investigation, tenderers are to generate a geological ground model, assess the likely mode and trigger of failure, and propose a minimum of three remedial options for presentation to TfNSW. One preferred option will then be selected to take to detailed design, with relevant IFC drawings to be prepared and submitted.
Please note, tenderers must be currently registered under the categories ‘Geotechnical Investigation and Monitoring’ & ‘Slope Risk Assessment’ within the Technical Services Registration Scheme | Transport for NSW- SCM8661 and must have IFC drawing capability.
