The Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) Council seeks expressions of interest for the WA Representative role.
Description
The AFOEM Council is responsible for the governance and direction of the Faculty, its committees, and working groups.
The Faculty's function is to support the professional careers of Fellows and trainees of the Faculty through working with appropriate College Bodies and staff in relation to:
- education, training, and assessment of trainees
- training and continual professional development
- policy and advocacy
- the assessment of overseas-trained professionals
- research
- workforce
The WA Representative to AFOEM Council also Chairs the AFOEM WA Regional Committee.
The Council meets 4 times per year, including once face-to-face in the RACP Sydney Offices.
This position is open to all AFOEM Fellows residing in WA, Australia.
