Tender Description
The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking suitable suppliers with demonstrated skills in the delivery of water for the environment. Water for the environment helps to promote environmental, cultural and social outcomes for the community.
The project requires delivery of water for the environment across multiple locations within the Mallee CMA region. Tasks may include the supply and installation of temporary pumps, temporary pipelines, and the construction of temporary earthen levees, in line with required specifications.
Rivers, wetlands and their associated anabranches and floodplains are a defining feature of the Mallee region. The health of these waterways and floodplains is fundamental to the region’s environmental, cultural, social and economic future. Without natural flooding, the condition of these features of our landscape will decline. Delivering water for the environment helps maintain the condition of sites during periods without natural flow.

A briefing session will be held on 18 January 2024 10:00 am.
Notes: THE TENDERER MUST REGISTER THROUGH THE TENDERS WEBSITE for the briefing session before 4pm Wednesday 17th January.A briefing session will be held via Teams video conference. Site visits will be available on Wednesday 24th (Bilgoes Billabong, Musk Duck Wetland and Snake Lagoon Extension) and Thursday 25th (Bridge Creek) January 2024 (weather dependent; attendance is optional; however attendance must be registered at tenders@malleecma.com.au no later than Monday 22nd January 24).
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
