For the first time as part of a regional NSW state-wide strategic procurement initiative, we are reviewing our culvert supply requirements across all our locations in NSW.
TfNSW spends approximately AUD$ 3 M per annum on Culvert Supply. As part of this initiative, a project team has been formed to conduct a state-wide review of all district culvert supply requirements.
Our aim is to maximise TfNSW’s position with suppliers by applying best-practice procurement methodologies with the objective of developing the source(s) of supply that represents the lowest total cost across TfNSW.
The project is to include all Culvert supplies across all regions (including pipe culverts, box culverts, and other associated products). The information gathered from the RFI will also indicate alternate products and reciprocal trade relationships
