Tender Description
This project is located at the Scrub Creek Road crossing of the Brisbane River, Braemore. The aim of the project is to construct a new bridge across this western channel with PSC deck units. The concept design of this bridge is as below:
• Total Bridge Length: 60m nominal
• Bridge Width: 4.5m nominal, depth of deck units nominal 750mm
• Bridge spans: 4 No, 15m nominal
• Deck: Insitu formed/poured concrete deck
• Barriers: Outside PSC deck units requiring cast in plate/ferrule groups to allow mounting of steel traffic barrier
• The Deck Units to be constructed in accordance with MRTS 73.
• Design drawing from a recently constructed similar bridge with 750mm deep PSC deck unit are attached, for reference only.
