Tender Description
Walcha Council is looking at extending its sewage network on the northern end of town. The current sewer is to be extended along Thunderbolts Way/Uralla Rd to the Western End of Beaver Place industrial area. As part of the extension, the amenities building on the John Oxley Sportsground on the Northern side of Beaver Place shall also be connected to the sewer network.
Due to the topography of the area, a combination of gravity and pressurized sewer are to be considered. Consequently, a pump station must be placed along the new section of the network.
The tender shall cover the design and construction of the sewer main (earthworks and piping), the supply and installation of the pumping station and corresponding electrical panel, and all necessarily components to cover current and future need in this area.
