Provision of First Aid Training
Tender ID: 529985
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has provided first aid services as emergency responders to the community of Western Australia for many decades. The activities performed by DFES frequently require volunteer and career personnel to deal with potentially dangerous situations where members of the community are injured and require first aid treatment.
On other occasions, emergency service personnel can sustain an injury that may require treatment by peer responders. As a result, DFES Career and Volunteer personnel require first aid skills and knowledge commensurate with their response profile.
The Request outlines two training service packages required by the DFES. This includes a base level training service package (Package 1) that incorporates standard National Units of Competency (NUoC) for First Aid; and a higher-level training service package that includes more complex levels of training and additional requirements needed for instructors (Package 2).
These training service packages are intended for delivery around the State to volunteer and career personnel.
Respondents can submit an Offer for either Package 1 or Package 2 or both. Respondents can submit an Offer for the entire State or for one or more of the DFES Regions (as detailed in Appendix B DFES Region Map). Respondents must be able to provide services to the entire region nominated for.
DFES does not guarantee any work under this Contract.
