City of Boroondara is an attractive and highly sought after residential environment with a mix of housing types. Set in a treed environment, Boroondara (Aboriginal for ‘a place in the shade’) is known for high levels of amenity. Boroondara’s Victorian, Edwardian, Inter-war and Post-war subdivision patterns are very distinctive. Boroondara's visual landscape is characterized by an abundance of trees and other vegetation found within reserves, streets and private gardens.
Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced Consultants to form a Panel to provide Heritage Consultancy Services. The Panel of Consultants shall provide Council with expert advice and guidance in support of Council’s recently adopted community heritage nomination process and other matters having regard to all Council's heritage policy and objectives.
The Heritage Panel shall consist of approximately ten Consultants, who shall be requested to provide advice based on a quotation process, as detailed within the specification and tender documents.
The initial term for this Contract is two years.
