Tender Description
Septic tank effluent & sewerage collected from the townships of Mt Barker, Littlehampton, Nairne and Brukunga is treated at Council’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
Council has dredged and dewatered Bio Solids from the inlet lagoon at the WWTP on several occasions in recent years and transported the dewatered Bio Solids to Council’s Wastewater Bio Solids Stabilisation Site located at Lot 201 Ironstone Range Road Nairne.
Currently there are three main stockpiles of Bio Solids varying in age from 6 months to three years. The total volume of the three stockpiles is estimated to be approximately 4000 tonnes
Council would like to explore the various options for the reuse of these Bio Solids with interested parties.
