Procurement of a Service Provider/s for Claims Management Services

⁠⁠⁠Comcare is establishing a number of delegated claims service offerings for certain Australian Government agencies (the Participating Agencies). The service offerings are part of Comcare's broader objective to ensure its claims management functions are as effective and efficient as possible.

The delegated claims service offerings involve:

1. the delegation of Comcare powers under the SRC Act to individuals (Agency Delegates) in the Participating Agencies; and

2. the provision of claims management services to support Agency Delegates by either a third party Service Provider, Comcare, or internal Participating Agency resources.

Comcare is seeking to appoint up to two (2) Service Provider(s) under this RFT who will deliver high quality Claims Management Services to Agency Delegates in Participating Agencies as a part of Comcare's delegated claims service offerings.

Comcare also intends to create a shortlist of up to a further one (1) Tenderer who will agree to confirm their service offering and pricing for 12 months and who Comcare may approach for future scopes of work as needed by Comcare by entering into a Deed of Standing Offer substantially in the form of the Draft Contract.

After receipt by Comcare of the correctly executed document, the Tenderer will receive instructions on how to access the Request for Tender documentation.

An Industry Briefing will be held on 28 June 2023.
