Tender Description
The Town of Cambridge is issuing this RFT to identify and select a Respondent to construct a Carpark in the Southwest of Lake Monger Reserve, as stated in RFT 2023-05.
The scope of works shall include, but is not limited to:
(a) Preparation of a Construction & Environmental Management Plan and a Traffic Management Plan.
(b) Stripping, stockpiling and redistribution of topsoil to batter areas as necessary
(c) Removal and disposal of grass sod and other deleterious material
(d) Placement and compaction of crushed rock (only) fill to suitable levels within site
(e) Setout and construction of carpark pavement, surfacing, kerbing, footpaths, bollards, line-marking, etc
(f) Only on completion of primary carpark, decommissioning of three adjacent carparks to be undertaken
(g) Decommissioning to involve removal, disposal of existing hardstand and garden bed areas with subsequent fill of site to adjacent ground levels, with reconnection of footpath and kerb sections along Lake Monger Drive
(h) Protection of existing reticulation lines (relocation works are to be done by others)
(i) Aboriginal Heritage management – Excavation in and adjacent to the site may require supervision by and appointed indigenous monitor in accordance with regulatory approvals. The requirements for such are to be determined and procured by the Town prior to the commencement of Works
(j) Provision of "As Constructed" plans and associated documentation
(k) 12 months hardworks maintenance from the date of Practical Completion
(l) Vegetative landscaping to be done by others
