Council is seeking Tenders for the provision of experienced asphalt contractors for the supply of asphalt and asphalt paving services including profiling (cold planning) through Cardinia Shire. Council typically spends the order of $2.5M per annum on the supply of these materials and services. The objectives of this contract are to carry out all asphalting works efficiently, to a high standard of workmanship, and with minimum disruption to the community. In some cases, this may necessitate works to be carried out outside normal working hours and on weekends and/ or public holidays. Council is therefore seeking to appoint at least one asphalt contractor with established and sound asphalt production and paving practices and management systems that can provide a safe, efficient, and effective service at best value for money to Council.

Council however reserves the right to award one or multiple contracts for these works, for a period of 3 years with an extension option for a further 2 years.
