Tender Description
1. Penrith City Council (Council) is a large general purpose Local Government Authority in New South Wales, with the seat of the City of Penrith located approximately 55 kilometres west of Sydney’s Central Business District at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, covering an area of 404.9 square kilometres with a population of over 212,000.
2. Council is calling for responses from suitably experienced and qualified Contractors to provide services within the Penrith Local Government Area in relation to Hire of Trucks, Plant and Equipment, as further described in Attachment [3] of this RFT – Scope of Services.
3. Tenderers can submit for all or some items.
4. Council reserves the right to award each item to separate companies.
5. The purpose of this tender is to establish a Ranked Panel of Contractors to provide services, on an ‘as required’ basis.
6. The Contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years, with an option by Council to extend for a further two (2) x one (1) year periods.
7. The Services are awarded on a schedule of rates basis in accordance with the tender pricing schedules herein.
8. Tenderers are to provide a copy of their own hire contracts as a part of this tender process to be reviewed as a part of their tender submission.
