Roadside Clearance (Municipal Fire Prevention Slashing)

⁠⁠⁠The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2223-026 for the provision of Municipal Fire Prevention Slashing program for Roadside Clearance.

The Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver the Services.

The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years.

Council may at its discretion, extend the operation of the Contract beyond the Initial Contract Term for a minimum period of one (1) month and up to a maximum of twenty-four months.

The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed eighty-four (84) months.

It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 September 2023

Tenderers are required to provide schedule of rates for Year 1 of the proposed Contract term.

For the following years of the proposed Contract term, the tendered and accepted schedule of rates will be subject to an annualised rate increase based on the All Groups Melbourne CPI result for the quarter ending immediately prior to the Contract Anniversary Date.

Any variation to the future annualised CPI rate adjustments must be submitted in writing to Council by the successful contractor and must be supported with financial data. Council may consider the request for variation to costs.
