Norfolk Island Regional
Council is seeking quotes from appropriately qualified and experienced heavy
machinery/diesel mechanics to provide maintenance and operating services for
NIRC's waste management operations.
NIRC has and is acquiring a variety of heavy machinery for waste operations
including shredders, front-end loaders, skid steers and excavators.
Routine maintenance and response to breakdowns in essential to the continuity of
waste operations and NIRC requires contract resources to achieve this. Ability
to operate heavy machinery is also desirable.
The following information is requested from respondents:
- Outline of experience and qualifications
- Relevant licences and tickets
- Confirmation of ability to provide tools and source materials
- Minimum available hours per week
- Hourly rate and day rate
- Other information to support the Request for Quote response
Successful respondent/s may also be requested to assist with other Council
equipment as necessary.
