Business Zero Emissions Vehicle Grants Program ACT
This program provides funding to assist ACT businesses looking to onboard innovative ZEV technologies into their vehicle fleets.

Category A, funding of up to $50,000. Category B, funding of up to $20,000.

Businesses and vehicle hire companies in the ACT.
Overview
This grant supports community uptake of ZEVs, such as electric and hydrogen vehicles, in the ACT by:
familiarising ZEVs for businesses and community organisationshighlighting the new types of vehicles coming into the ZEV marketaccelerating the transition of commercial vehicles.There are 2 grant categories:
category A – grants to co-fund a battery electric light commercial truck to a vehicle hire company, funding of up to $50,000category B – grants to co-fund battery electric vans or utility vehicles for ACT businesses and community organisations, funding of up to $100,000.Check if you can apply
To be eligible to apply for Category A grants, an applicant must be a vehicle rental company business currently operating in the ACT, and:
have an Australian business number (ABN)have relevant insurances to hire out vehicles within the ACTbe registered for goods and services (GST) purposesbe prepared to enter a legally binding Deed of Grant with the Territorybe prepared for the vehicles to be fitted with telematic devices (this will enable ACT Government to fully understand the usage and impact of the vehicle and will be installed at nil cost to the applicant)not be a government agencynot be a political party registered under the Electoral Act.To be eligible to apply for Category B grants, an applicant must be a business already operating in the ACT and:
have an Australian business number (ABN)be registered for goods and services (GST) purposesbe headquartered in the ACTbe prepared to enter a legally binding Deed of Grant with the Territorybe prepared for the vehicles to be fitted with telematic devices (this will enable ACT Government to fully understand the usage and impact of the vehicle and will be installed at nil cost to the applicant)not be a government agencynot be a political party registered under the Electoral Act.Apply now
