The objective is to deliver the already created “Communications and Community Engagement Plan (CCEP)” for the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project inclusive of the following services;
- Direct Community Engagement Services
- In-Direct Community Engagement Services
- Customer Relationship Management System
- Reporting
- Modifications to the CCEP approach

Community engagement and participation in decision-making forms an important part of local democracy. The community has the right and responsibility to access information, be consulted and actively participate in Council’s planning and decision-making processes.
The purpose of this CCEP is to identify the opportunities for genuine engagement with key stakeholders and the community during the detailed design and construction of the Project.
Council is committed to ongoing open and inclusive engagement and consultation with key stakeholders and the wider community.
