Strategic Utilisation Review of Porters Creek Facility

⁠⁠⁠ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The City of Ryde has an area of 40.651 square kms and lies in the central northern part of the Sydney Metropolitan area, approximately 12kms from the centre of Sydney. The City occupies, most of the divide between the Parramatta and Lane Cover rivers, and has 16 suburbs within its boundaries.

ABOUT THE TENDER: The Council of the City of Ryde on behalf of itself and other participating regional Councils is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced respondents for to prepare a Strategic Utilisation Review of Council's Porters Creek facility (162 Wicks Road, Macquarie Park).

Council is interested in examining a range of options for the utilisation of a 1.5 Ha portion of the of the greater facility through a Strategic Utilisation Review. The purpose of the Strategic Utilisation Review is to support Council's' waste management, resource recovery, and circular economy endeavors. Council is also seeking to understand how the North Shore region can utilise such a facility on a commercial basis with mutually beneficial outcomes. Ultimately, participating Councils would seek to optimise the commercial possibilities for Council's ratepayers.

The Strategic Utilisation Review of Porter Creek Facility Request for Quotation is divided into two parts:

Part One Options Analysis Site Utilisation
Part Two Business Case for the Utilisation of Wicks Road Porters Creek
Council may or may not proceed with Part Two, the proceeding of Part Two will be determined once the option analysis has been presented to Council.

CANVASSING SUPPORT: A Tenderer shall not directly, or indirectly, canvas support from an elected member, employee or Council at any time. Any Tenderer involved in such activity will result in their Tender being rejected.

SUBMISSION: Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (preferred) using the Word version of the Schedule. Respondents will receive a successful submission, receipt timed and dated upon completion. Furthermore, hard copy submission can also be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the Tender title, number and closing details. If submitting a tender via hard copy, the tender box is located in the foyer of Council's North Ryde Office.
