Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of interest are open for an Aotearoa New Zealand member position on the AFRM Research Committee.

The AFRM Research Committee Terms of Reference guide the Committee’s operations, responsibilities and functions. The AFRM Research Committee:

  • prepares a proposed list of research-related activities on an annual basis;
  • develops, coordinates, implements, and monitors research-related activity approved by the AFRM Council; and
  • contributes to research matters in rehabilitation medicine to the College Research Committee. 


    • Key tasks

  • attend AFRM Research Committee meetings
  • assist the Chair in determining Committee priorities and an annual work plan for approval by the AFRM Council. Develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor the activity of the Committee work plan
  • assist the Chair in responding to new and emerging research issues relevant to the AFRM as they arise
  • act as an authoritative source of direction and advice within the College regarding rehabilitation medicine-related research issues


    • The AFRM Research Committee reports to the AFRM Council and meets 4 times a year.
