Scenic Rim Regional Council (Council) is pleased to invite expressions of interest (EOI) from waste industry professionals, local industry, community groups, social enterprise, and other interested parties to participate in the Waste Asset Development, Operations and Services EOI process. The purpose of the EOI is to engage with the market and identify potential partners and arrangements that will assist in developing a Circular Economy Precinct in the Scenic Rim. Successful Respondents will be invited to participate in discussions that inform the next phase of procurement.
The EOI encompasses 3 separable portions covering:
Operations, management and (where appropriate) development of services;
Organics Processing; and
Alternative Waste Technologies
Council’s aim is to optimise diversion from landfill, and to use this waste as a resource at the highest possible order in the waste hierarchy.
