Tender Description
The City of Bayswater is a local government located approximately eight kilometers northeast of the Perth CBD. It includes the suburbs of Bayswater, Bedford, Embleton, Morley, Noranda, Maylands and parts of Mount Lawley, Dianella, Bassendean and Beechboro. The City has approximately 170 buildings and 438 land parcels.
The City is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the servicing and maintenance of the fire detection, suppression, and evacuation systems in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. The contractor will also be appointed to undertake 6 monthly exit and emergency lighting testing, annual residual current device (RCD) testing, and annual emergency eyewash/shower inspections and servicing.
The tender is being released on the basis of a separable portion for RCD, exit, and emergency lighting testing and will include scheduled maintenance and system failure callouts.
The City is seeking to form a three-year contract business with the possibility of two extensions of one year each.
