Tender Description
Shoalhaven City Council is seeking to carry out rock fall risk mitigation works along Bolong Rd east of the Back Forest Bolong intersection.
The primary scope of works consists of vegetation removal and scaling of loose blocks/rocks under the direction of a Council engaged geotechnical engineer in accordance with Attachment 2, to mitigate the risk of rockfalls that may pose a danger to road users. In addition to the scope outlined in this document and attachments a pre-tender meeting will be conducted to confirm and outline details of the primary scope of works. These will be placed in an contract addendum for quoting purposes.
The secondary scope of work includes the construction of catch fences, shotcrete support, rock bolts and mesh as directed and, if deemed necessary.
Mandatory Pre-Quotation Meeting on the 22 March 2023, 1:30pm
On-site meeting to confirm scope and walk over site. Meeting outcomes will be compiled and placed in a contract addendum for quoting purposes.
