Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The BOT at Brooklyn School are seeking the services of a main contractor to undertake the construction of alterations to the areas described in the tender documents prepared by IR Group Ltd. This involves the following works

Blk F AMS / QLE Upgrades
• Demolition as described
• Uplifting and disposal of floor coverings
• Removal of internal glazing an partition walls
• Installation of new floor and wall coverings
• Installation of new wall treatment
• Installation of new aluminium sliding doors between teaching spaces
• Supply and install of new fixed joinery as described
• Construction of new breakout spaces
• Relocation of the existing server as described in the detailed drawings
• Replacement of structural steel down pipes with timber members

Blk F Replace Gas Heaters with Heat Pumps
• Removal and disposal of gas flue heaters in Block F
• Specification, supply, installation and testing of new heat pumps
• Exterior units to be ground mounted and covered with fixed galvanised cages for protection

Blks A & F Student Toilet Upgrades
Block A Toilets
• Demolition of internal space within Block A toilet area 1
• Creation of new staff resource room
• Supply and install of new joinery described
Block F Toilets
• Removal of existing toilets pans and replacement with new back to wall pans
• Supply and install of new extractor fans in each location
• Demolition, removal and make good of the existing urinal within toilet area 1

Blk A Completion of Modernisation Works
• Installation of new carpet tiles, LED lighting, pinboard and joinery as detailed
