Civic Link Block 3 Design Services Consultancy

ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

ABOUT THE TENDER: The City of Parramatta ('the City') is seeking to engage a suitably qualified consultant team to provide concept design verification, design development, detailed design, construction documentation and quality control services during construction for the delivery of Block 3 of the Civic Link within the Parramatta CBD. The project will deliver a memorable and high-quality public space and a key piece in the city centre's Civic Link green spine, which upon completion will extend almost 500m from Parramatta Square to the Parramatta River along the existing Horwood Place alignment.

The consultant will provide a complete packaged design service and complete the scope of works described or implied by this Request for Tender. The consultant is required to engage and coordinate all sub consultants as necessary and be responsible for their output to deliver an integrated outcome. The term of the contract will be approx. 36 months (3) years.

Prospective Tenderers will need to be able to demonstrate ISO9001 Quality Management certification and demonstrable experience of at least one (1) urban streetscape and public plaza project with a minimum construction value of circa $10 million dollars to be considered further by the evaluation team. These criteria and mandatory and inability to demonstrate these would render a tender non-conforming.
