Tender Description
The City of Hume is embarking upon sports surface upgrade works to 12 x acrylic surfaced tennis court at the Hume Tennis Centre, 225 Marathon Blvd, Craigieburn VIC 3064, VIC 3428.
Suitably skilled and qualified suppliers and installers are invited to provide a submission to carry out the proposed upgrade works to the courts. This document (including all specifications, images and all associated information) has been developed to give quoting companies an understanding of the scope of works to enable them to supply relevant information required by the panel for their consideration of each submission, as well as their pricing to undertake the works.
The site where the works will take place is as follows, with the twelve acrylic courts marked below.
Courts (1-6 and 9-14) highlighted red will be resurfaced with PlexiCushion Prestige.
Courts 1 and 2 require a full grind and strip back to the asphalt with new Plexicushion Prestige (applied in the stepped method) supplied and installed throughout, while courts 3-6 and 9-14 require cut out and repairs of damaged sections with new Plexicushion Prestige (applied in the stepped method) supplied and installed throughout. A total of 9,054 square metres of new tennis court resurfacing is required.
Council wishes to consider cost options for staggering the works over a 3-year period against delivering them as one body of work as one project. Site operations may not enable all 12 courts to be resurfaced at once, however tenderers are encouraged to price this option (in Schedule 1) and outline their methodology to undertake the works delivering all 12 courts fully resurfaced as one project.
