Tender Description
The 2023 Land Environment Working Group (LEWG) workshops were facilitated by Army Headquarters over 2 days, 5 June 2023 and 6 June 2023. The LAND 4140 Program facilitated workshops at the LEWG to further define and refine requirements for future approaches to market. The Defense Strategic Review sets the agenda for ambitious, but necessary, reform to Defense's posture and structure. The Land C4 Program is well positioned for impending changes as it now adjusts its focus in key areas of capability delivery. The partnership between Industry and Defense must be strengthened to ensure the capability delivered by the Program is able to meet emergent threats.
The LAND 4140 Program is scoped to deliver adaptable, secure and resilient land C4 capabilities in support of the Joint Land Force. As the Program increases in scope and scale, the requirement for sub-systems (across program entities) to rapidly integrate will be crucial. To address the future issues we face, the Program aims to:1. Build trusted relationships through collaboration, agility and a positive working environment.2. Remain outcome focused with a warfighting mindset.The LAND C4 workshop covered 3 questions regarding the governance frameworks of the program with a summary of the findings in the attached.
